In 2010, Kristin and Jotham Burrello relocated from Chicago to beautiful and rural northeast Connecticut. With record rainfall that spring, and two small boys (soon there would be three!) traipsing through the fields and house, Muddy Feet Flower Farm was born. Muddy Feet flowers are cut fresh daily. No chemical pesticides or fertilizers are used in our field. Instead, we weed by hand, and feed our plants an elixir of seaweed, fish emulsion, raw milk, molasses and vinegar. Better for the plants, the soil, the animals, the many streams and ponds that surround our farm, and better for you. We believe local flowers are superior because they last longer, are more fragrant and cost less.
